CAMH Education TraumaInformed Deescalation Education for Safety and Selfprotection (TIDES) is currently seeking a fulltime temporary (1 year) CH&E Assistant. Reporting to the Manager of TIDES and Community Education the CH&E Assistant is responsible for supporting TIDES education sessions and data input. The incumbent will:
- Coordinate and process registrations for courses
- Support attendance tracking
- Training resource management
- Provide reception coverage in the education space
Other duties include arrange for printing of course packages and handouts accurately perform data entry for course evaluations be responsible for room and audiovisual equipment set up digital filing mailing and other tasks as required. You will support a workplace that is welcoming of our participants embraces diversity and inclusion encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable standards and requirements. This position is located at 1025 Queen Street West Street.
The successful candidate will have one year of community college and 6 months 1 year experience in an administrative position. Proficiency with computer programs such as Excel MS Word PowerPoint outlook; some experience with database programs excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient administrative skills in areas such as filing etc. are required. You are capable of working independently and in a team setting and have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds is also an asset. Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
