Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst
Location: Calgary Canada
Job Type: Fulltime (40 hours/week)
Experience Required: Minimum 12 years of experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in reliability engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience and will be responsible for analyzing data from various sources to predict equipment failures and guide the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Analyze static transactional and cascading data obtained from LNG Canada assets to predict equipment or unit failures.
Alarm Evaluation : Example assess alarms from pressure transmitters and other devices to determine if they indicate real issues or faulty equipment.
Trend Analysis: Develop Monitor and interpret trends from multiple data streams including:
Calibration data sheets
P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
Operational data
CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) data
PI Historian data
Reliability Assessment and studies: Candidate shall be able to assess the equipment functionality based on the data available and provide the reliability of the equipment or system.
Criticality Assessment and studies: Evaluate the criticality of equipment failures and provide recommendations to prevent production losses.
Maintenance Guidance: Communicate findings and trends to the maintenance team and suggest necessary actions.
AI Integration: Utilize AI tools and the Asset Information Factory to enhance data analysis and provide valuable insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in reliability engineering.
Strong understanding of data analysis and trend monitoring.
Ability to interpret and integrate data from multiple systems.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to the maintenance team.
Proficiency in using AI tools and data analysis software.
Desired Skills:
Data analyst with Mechanical engineering degree and reliability experience
Familiarity with CMMS and PI Historian systems.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
Fulltime position 8 hours a day 40 hours a week
