Job Description
Korzen Health is collaborating with Healogics to recruit a fulltime 4 days/week Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for their program in the Waycross GA market area. The position requires fulltime weekday coverage for a mixture of outpatient center and postacute care.
For over 25 years Healogics has been treating patients with chronic wounds from over 600 hospitalbased wound care centers across the country. Currently Healogics treats over 300000 wound care patients annually and has healed nearly 4 million wounds. Healogics is the worlds leading expert in wound healing.
This opportunity is a mixture of Post Acute Care work as well as coverage of our outpatient Center. Both settings involve 100 Wound Care. There are no night oncall or weekend shifts and there is no need to secure new contracts due to existing business at this location.
The position is procedurebased primarily serving geriatric patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting as well as Center work. A minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience is required with procedural or Post Acute Care experience preferred. Acceptable examples of procedural experience may include suturing incision and drainage biopsies and debridement. Paid training is provided.
Scope of Practice Highlights
- Responsibilities include administering fundamental wound care including dressing changes and chemical debridement alongside select minor procedures.
- Providers typically see an average of 1520 patients per day.
This is a fulltime 4 days/week job. No Nights No Call No weekends. Flexible.
- Your responsibilities will encompass the provision of care to adult and geriatric patients.

Experience Requirements
Clean and Active State license
Must be a Certified Nurse Practitioner
DEA License
Minimum of 1 year of NP experience is a must

Benefits/Compensation
- Compensation consists of a base salary and a quarterly bonus. The total annual compensation ranges from $115000 to $155000 for fulltime employees.
