Overview
This positions primary focus is the overall operation and/or production of processes and materials as directed.

Responsibilities
(This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continual basis. It does not exclude other duties that may be assigned.)
Obtain production orders daily. Sort the orders out by the due date with the oldest order scheduled first management may make changes to the daily schedule to meet production needs.
Push pull and lift block to platform. Inspect block for any defects before and after cuts are made.
Insert an appropriate program based on order into a control panel on CNC.
Must be able to use an interpret a tape measure and use basic math skills including decimals and fractions.
Inspect all products after cuts are made.
Report any issue or concerns to management to ensure that quality standards are met.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job.
Formal education is not required.
Minimum of 6 months of previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred but not required for consideration.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Basic reading and writing skills are necessary
Basic math skills are necessary (addition subtraction multiplication division)
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Experience in fabrication or related industry preferred.
Experience in operation of CNC machine preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is required to stand for extended periods of time stand and use hands to grasp handle or feel. Employees may on occasion be required to speak hear bend stand kneel crouch and walk on wet surfaces. The employee must frequently lift move and/or drag/push more than 40 pounds. Employees may also be requested to extended shifts work overtime and /or weekends. Employees must be willing and able to abide by all safety policies.
ENVIROMENT:
Duties are performed primarily at a manufacturing setting and may expose employees to laud noise levels extreme temperatures chemical and fumes and moving mechanical parts. Work is completed in a nonclimatecontrolled plant environment and employees will have frequent interaction with managers and other employees. Standard hazards within a manufacturing plant where safety precautions and personal protective equipment must be maintained all the time.
