Brokerage Operations Specialist II

Locations: Kansas City MO Hybrid

Get To Know The Team:

We are seeking a highly motivated detailoriented team member to join the Alternative Operations team at SS&C Brokerage Solutions. We are looking for a positive selfstarter with superior decision making time management and communication skills as well as a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate works well under pressure and has a proven track record of working remotely with little supervision. This role will require you to build strong relationships with various parties including fund administrators custodians and asset managers. This is a great opportunity to gain experience working within a fast growing segment of the financial services industry.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Communicate effectively and develop relationships directly with fund administrators and issuers
  • Review fund documents and perform data entry to track client balances and transactions as appropriate
  • Identify and resolve data reporting discrepancies and escalate to senior team as needed
  • Ensure timeliness accuracy and completeness of all client reporting needs
  • Assist in identifying process improvements
  • Develop implement and maintain operating procedures
  • Additional responsibilities based on capacity skill and interest

What You Will Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related industry experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and strong multitasking skills
  • Computer experience (Word Excel Microsoft Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
