The awardwinning Forbes 4Star and AAA 5Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Clubis looking for an Assistant Director of Human Resourcesto join the Team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach this town played an iconic role in the emergence of Californias surf culture and today is celebrated for its laidback vibe and fun active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms 115000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants a beach club lounge marketplace and inroom dining.

In this role you will report directly to the Director of Human Resources helping manage 750850 team members.

The ideal candidate will have previous Assistant Director/Director of Human Resources experience in a luxury property is fluent in Spanish has a clear understanding of California employment laws including FMLA LOA Workers comp along with working knowledge of recruitment/employment visas managing benefits and facilitating orientation.

Pay Rate:The annual salary range for this role is $110000 $120000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.


What will I be doing

As an Assistant Director of Human Resources you would be responsible for assisting the Director in the direction and administration of the Human Resources function in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
