To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Engineering Manager located in Austin TX.
Reporting to the Operations Engineering Director the Engineering Manager will in charge of managing a team of engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
- Establish and improve process capabilities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications delivery and cost expectations.
- Work with other engineering team members on new products that can be manufactured.
- Improve throughput in constrained areas.
- Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
- 5 years of engineering manufacturing experience including supervision.
- Demonstrates functional technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Experience couching and mentoring others.
- Involvement on an automation and highspeed environment.
