Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Driveway Attendant/Cashier to join our parking valet team at Marriott Marquis Hotel Atlanta. This dual role involves managing the hotels driveway operations assisting guests with luggage loading and unloading and handling cash transactions efficiently. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.
**Key Responsibilities: **
Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive and depart from the hotel.
Manage vehicle parking and retrieval in a timely and organized manner.
Assist guests with luggage loading and unloading ensuring care and attention to their belongings.
Process payments issue receipts and maintain accurate cash handling in accordance with company policies.
Monitor the driveway area for vehicle safety and assist in traffic management as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the driveway and parking areas.
Provide information about hotel services local attractions and directions to guests.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in customer service hospitality or a similar role is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift and carry luggage as needed.
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
