Overview
Position:Physical Therapist Assistant Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: Chambersburg PA
Schedule: Fulltime Clinic hours Monday Wednesday Thursday 8am 7pm Tuesday and Friday 8am1pm so you can start your weekend early! No Weekends
Compensation: Hourly range $23$30/hr based on your experience.
Incentives: $5000 sign on bonus plus $350 per month in Student Loan Assistance
Unique Location/Job Details: Outpatient orthopedic center that sees a diverse patient mix. 1 PT and front desk on staff looking to add a PTA. Diverse patient mix included orthopedics sports medicine vestibular/postconcussion. New grads or experienced PTAs welcome to apply. Orientation and training provided as well as mentorship for new grads.
Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide topnotch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
