The Customer Products group works on our awardwinning website and our iOS and Android apps. We are a multidisciplinary colocated team with around 75 engineers and 100 people total. We value transparency accountability shared responsibility and teamwork. We deploy multiple times a day and were focused on our users and the FTs mission to provide engaging worldclass journalism.
Customer Products sits within FTs Product & Technology function and brings together people from Product Delivery and Technology.
We have two teams in Customer Products which focus on advertising along with the related concerns of privacy consent and compliance.
The Ads & Privacy team delivers flexible configurable dynamic ads across mobile and web and lets stakeholders make datadriven decisions via APIs and observability tools. We use the platform to build everything from web components to browser extensions.
We ensure that our users experience remains performant and that their privacy and consent is respected.
The Ads Growth team is a crossfunctional group of product managers designers user researchers and engineers who collaborate to validate and develop innovative advertising formats for highend and luxury brands.
We push technical boundaries to showcase client creatives across video and pictorial formats.
The Ads teams work on challenging UI problems using modern tooling like TypeScript platforms like Astro browser standards like Web Components and testing with Vitest and Playwright.
If you know your Constructable Stylesheets from your Proxy constructors and care about accessibility performance and user privacy this is a role youll relish.

Your core skill set and expertise is web development and youre enthusiastic about contributing to all parts of the process.
