Temporary Full Time Teacher
Outreach/Virtual School Science Teacher
Pincher Creek AB
Livingstone Range School Division located in Southwestern Alberta is seeking to hire the very best teachers in Alberta!

We are seeking a temporary fulltime teacher to teach high school sciences and provide in person support for students at MHHS Gateway School located in Pincher Creek AB. This is a hybrid position with the teacher working 2 days a week from home and three days a week at Gateway School. The contract will commence on August 25 2025 and will end on June 26 2026.
We are seeking a teacher who has;
- An ability to teach high school sciences: the ability to teach chemistry and/or physics would be an asset.
- The ability to create innovative integrated curriculum units;
- Experience teaching in an online context;
- A commitment to building relationships with students to create a safe caring and welcoming online learning environment;
- An ability to ensure success for students with diverse academic behavioural emotional and/or curricular needs.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team;
- A strong belief in parent involvement and communication including regular communication with home beyond the use report cards;
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills;
- A passion for working with an ethnically diverse group of students including First Nations Metis and Inuit students;
- Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for same.
Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
