WHAT YOULL BE DOING

• Leads the compilation analyses modelling and reporting on various statistical data from a variety of sources/databases to identify trends that will impact on strategic planning for programs and services and recommends appropriate service delivery strategies to address and/or mitigate the impacts.
• Develops frameworks and dashboards integrating KPIs at all levels for various programs.
• Develops and implements systematic collection analysis and interpretation of indicators; identifies variations in performance and resolves escalated data issues.
• Prepares statistical and demographic reports based on the analysis and application of demographic and socioeconomic data from a variety of sources.
• Designs and/or revises complex databases and spreadsheet applications including the collection manipulation and analysis of statistical data.
• Monitors and reviews database inputs and its supporting documentation in preparation for required reports and presentations.
• Leads projects from initiation to closing including development and implementation of project charters work plans and responsibility matrices.
• Analyzes and estimates project costs; presents cost options to clients and provides options for outsourcing the appropriate resources as needed.
• Provides advice to internal programs on effective data analysis practices/methodologies as well as technology development / implementation.
• Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with Branch and Department objectives.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

• Successful completion of an University Degree in Social Sciences Mathematics Statistics or relevant fieldor approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in statistical data analysis including a combination of performance measurement survey development project management database design and report writing.
• Knowledge of and skills in various computer systems/programs including but not limited to SharePoint Cognos Power BI Tableau and SRSS.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical techniques for analyzing data sets.
• Experience with data extraction and analysis tools is an asset.
