- Leading midtier Civil Contractor with strong presence in the industry
This favorable national civil contractor is a leading contractor who work within resources local authorities and main roads projects across Australia. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry this contactor is experienced across multiple disciplines including roads earthworks drainage and concrete structures.
They have a number of major TMR/BCC roadwork projects valued anywhere between $50M $400M in SEQ and NQ. They are currently looking to secure a CQR (Client Quality Representative) or Quality Engineer with strong quality assurance management experience on TMR projects. This CQR/Quality Engineer will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects become a part of the delivery team and work closely with the client. Scope of works include earthworks drainage services structures and major road works. To be successful you must have a minimum of 3 years civil construction experience ideally across main roads projects for a contractor in similar conditions.
Reporting to the Quality Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Quality Assurance management ensuring the project is operating in compliancewith ISO 9001
- Maintaining strong relationships with the client subcontractors and stakeholders
- Monitor and close out work lot documentation and ensure compliance to the project specifications and standards
- Contribute to and review documentation including ITPs and NCRs
- Optimise the use of project resources including materials and equipment
- Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met in line with Government legislations
To be successful you must have a proven track record of managing quality assurance across large scale DTMR projects with a principal civil contractor. The successful individual must have at least 3 years civil construction experience including 1 2 years on main roads / TMR large scale projects.
This role will either start locally in their Brisbane offices or head to Gold Coast or North QLD projects (depending on project location).
