Job Description:

The Program Security Representative (PSR) position is responsible for managing program security requirements under the Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment Missile Solutions and Space Sector program portfolio. This position is located in Huntsville AL. PSR responsibilities include the management and execution of all programspecific functions including dedicated program area operations Program Protection and OPSEC plan implementation (PPIP/OPSEC) and other programspecific security support requirements such as training personnel physical or document security.

The PSR implements all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on NISPOM and other governing program directives as applicable. The incumbent is expected to exhibit the dedication and excellence required of a seasoned security professional while working and making decisions independently without direct supervision. The PSR works as a team player exhibits flexibility sets priorities and manages customer expectations in a sometimes fastpaced environment.

The PSR interacts with internal and external customers or Government security officials in the performance of security duties. The incumbent is responsible for supporting and enacting all L3Harris corporate policies including the protection of L3Harris intellectual property.

Essential Functions:

  • Administer address and complete programspecific security deliverables in collaboration with program managers and chief engineers.
  • Write PPIPs segment and program OPSEC plans program security briefings and other programspecific deliverables.
  • Administer and track programspecific annual training program prescreen questionnaires and may perform security clearance briefings and security debriefings for cleared employees (as needed).
  • May analyze and investigate programspecific security incidents; prepare internal and external customer reports as required by contracts.
  • Responsible for effective communications regarding program security by interfacing with or liaising with external customers (Government Associate Contractors Subcontractors former employees) and internal L3Harris organizations.
  • Prepare and participate in programlevel security assessments.
  • Serve as the security liaison for programrelated visits.
  • Create and/or maintain continuity books and procedures for multiple security functions.
  • May prepare and update Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) and other documents in accordance with customerspecific guidelines.
  • Security support and collaboration with various CAGE codes within the AR Segment.

Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance required.
  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Completion of FSO and/or accredited/approved CSSO course; other professional accreditations and certifications.
  • OPSEC Level I and CDSE equivalent OPSEC training (completed within 12 months of appointment).
  • Efficient proactive responsive team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to interface effectively with all levels of corporate management and government customers.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using security management software and applications.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timesensitive deliverables.
  • Handson selfstarting disciplined and detailoriented individual with the ability to work independently in a highvolume environment.
  • Working knowledge of OPSEC principles National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs).
  • Experience implementing regulatory compliance requirements NISPOM requirements or ICD 705 Standards.
  • Familiarity with operations of Secure Program Areas in office and manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient writing skills that include experience with program protection plans and CONOPs.
  • Expertise in providing others with direction and guidance on various security projects.
