THE ROLE:
Entegris is currently seeking Machinist II to join our team. This position will be based in our Decatur TX facility.
As a Machinist II you will perform tasks directly related to the machining of graphite silicon carbides and other specialty materials.
HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE MONDAYFRIDAY 3:15PM1:15AM.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Work is job oriented following detailed blueprints customer specifications and internal work instructions.
Operate hand tools precision measuring equipment and computers (desktop and machine control varieties)
Operate powered machine tools such as vertical CNC mills manual and CNC lathes surface and centerless grinders cup grinders bandsaws and other machining equipment.
Perform machine setups and/or operate equipment that is setup by more skilled operators.
Complete machining tasks within a customer job.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines to consistently produce highquality products.
May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.
WHAT WE SEEK:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings.
Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods.
Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality.
Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus;
Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
Able to safely lift 50 pounds.
Able to pass preemployment physical.
