Sewing Machinist
Job type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Wigton (Rural)
Pay rate: 12.75/Hr.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am - 2:30pm Friday 6am-1pm (Shift may be subject to change).
We are currently looking for aSewing Machinist to join our client. The ideal candidate will have prior experience using industrial sewing machines however this is not necessary. Youll be a key part of the production process stitching mattress panels borders and covers to specification.

- Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g. overlock flatbed twin needle) to stitch various mattress components.
- Sew fabric and other upholstery materials to size following detailed instructions or templates.
- Ensure all products are sewn to quality standards and production targets.
- Perform regular machine checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Work with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean working area.
