Job Description

  • Work closely with the elementary assistant superintendent executive director of counseling and the ALE principal to achieve district goals.
  • Consult and collaborate with elementary administrators to determine building behavioral support needs.
  • Collaborate with elementary administrators to implement district wide Tier 1 positive behavioral support systems in buildings and classrooms.
  • Obtain and provide resources for buildings and teachers to address needed behavioral supports and Tier II interventions.
  • Observe model consult in classrooms to strengthen Tier I behavior implementation and personalized Tier II development.
  • Build collaborative relationships with social workers counselors building principals and other district personnel to meet the needs of students.
  • Build positive relationships with parents of students with behavioral needs..
  • Advocate on a state level for support to increase behavior supports for public schools.
  • Provide district and building professional development as needed

Applicants will need to be certified in Arkansas Elementary Education. Masters degree preferred (salary posted is based on a masters degree).

202 day contract.
