The VP Outreach is a senior outwardfacing member of the M&A team responsible for driving acquisition pipeline development through direct engagement with business owners in the HOA industry. Reporting to the Chief Acquisition Officer this individual will lead origination efforts through multiple channelsphone email direct mail digital content and event participationwhile continuously tracking and refining outreach strategy.
This role combines relationship development market research and strategic communication to help fuel CMHs expansion. The ideal candidate is an energetic highly motivated professional with a passion for outreach and a strong ability to connect with business owners.
Primary Responsibilities:
Market Research & Pipeline Development
- Partner with the Chief Acquisition Officer to build and maintain the M&A acquisition pipeline.
- Conduct market research and maintain competitor intelligence segmented by geography.
- Log and maintain all data within CMHs pipeline management system to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Outbound Origination
- Lead targeted outreach efforts including cold calling personalized email campaigns and creative engagement strategies.
- Develop relationships with potential sellers over time through consistent professional communication.
- Coordinate and attend trade shows networking events and industry conferences to build CMHs visibility.
- Support the development of outreach collateral and engagement content.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track and report all outreach activities and maintain detailed correspondence records.
- Provide regular updates on KPIs including contact rates engagement metrics and pipeline performance.
- Deliver ad hoc reports and summaries as requested by senior leadership.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships effectively via phone and email.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the capacity to clearly and concisely deliver the CMH pitch.
- Advanced written communication skills.
- A resultsdriven hunter mentality demonstrating the energy and determination to consistently engage in outreach activities.
- Selfmotivated and persistent capable of maintaining continuous outreach efforts without external supervision.
- Resilience in the face of rejection maintaining focus and enthusiasm despite setbacks.
- High level of responsiveness and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Proficiency in Excel Outlook and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Required Education and Experience
- Fouryear degree required MBA is a plus
- At least five years of experience in M&A and/or similar business development roles

Candidates with the following experience and skills will be given additional consideration:
- Previous business development experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or private equity.
- Experience in managing largescale email outreach particularly with thirdparty email applications.
- Roles focused on cold outreach and direct sales to business owners.
- A proven track record of success in establishing connections with business owners especially those of companies generating less than $50M in revenue.
- Previous experience in the Homeowners Association (HOA) industry.
- Prior success in a remote work environment THIS ROLE WILL BE HYBRID based out of Scottsdale AZ or Charlotte NC.
