DescriptionThe Distribution Planner Sales and Operations Planning role is responsible for category inventory management across Rheems Water Division. Responsible for category inventory planning creating replenishment strategies executing SKU transitions maintaining network balance through parameters and collaborating with internal and external crossfunctional partners.
This position will serve our Water Division located in Roswell GA (Hybrid).
Responsibilities- Identify and prioritize root causes of fill rate issues and excess inventory and drive corrective actions across crossfunctional teams
- Review inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and either recommend corrective actions to appropriate plant personnel or enter transactions in inventory system
- Leverages Oracle and other systems to execute daytoday inventory control to consistently achieve fill rates while minimizing excess inventory across the water division
- Reconcile assigned inventories on a weekly and monthly basis and prepare monthly inventory entries
- Publish inventory report and perform analysis on an asneeded basis
- Perform weekly inventory audits of assigned inventories
- Publish daily production scrap inventory valuations and negative inventory reports
- Drive monthly internal audit reviews of receiving and shipping
- Review Bill Of Materials (BOMs) for errors causing inventory deviations and submit corrections to internal teams
Qualifications- Bachelors Degree in the areas of Supply Chain Finance Business or Logistics or related field.
- 5 years of supply chain planning accounting or related experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Marketing Business Administration or related field.
- Water Heating / HVAC industry experience preferred.
- Experience using Oracle
- Material Control and Planning related experiences
- Cost Accounting experience including experience with standard costing BOMs Routers Backflushing of inventory and Product
- Costing at various stages of manufacturing
- Continuous Improvement projects in a manufacturing operations environment
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional or relevant supply chain certification
