Key Responsibilities of the Media Studies Teacher:
Deliver engaging and innovative lessons to GCSE and ALevel Media students
Plan and assess student progress focusing on increasing Progress 8 scores
Work collaboratively in a 3person Media department
Engage with parents through effective communication about student development
Encourage creativity and critical thinking through a stimulating curriculum
Support the schools behaviour policy and contribute to a focused learning environment
What Were Looking For:
A Media Studies Teacher with QTS and a 1:1 degree in Media or a related subject from a top 20 UK university
Strong classroom presence and confidence managing behaviour
Experience working with SEND and a proactive adaptable teaching style
A Media Studies Teacher with a teamplayer attitude and a passion for the subject
Keen interest in progression with aspirations for future leadership
