Position: Veterinary Nurse Assistant Surgery (Fulltime)
Location: Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre
Hours: 38 hours per week Monday Friday 7am3pm

The Role:
As a Veterinary Nurse Assistant Surgery youll play a vital role in supporting our surgical team by:
- Maintaining surgical areas (prep theatre autoclave imaging rooms) through cleaning disinfection and equipment upkeep.
- Assisting with patient prep (under supervision) and managing hygiene in treatment areas.
- Manage stock levels and process orders
- Completing Infection Control and Nurse Assistant Checklists efficiently.
- Adhering to BVSCs safety policies and high care standards.

- Reliable energetic and detail oriented.
- Eager to learn and pursue professional development.
- Skilled in infection control WHS principles and safe manual handling.
- Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- A clear communicator both written and verbal.
- Flexible and willing to take on diverse tasks.
- Required: Certificate II or III in Animal Studies.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the role with or without reasonable accommodation
- Preferred: Prior experience in a veterinary setting.
