We are currently looking for a full time (up to 6 months contract) Lead for Strategic Projects: Brand Marketing & Communications at The Law Society.
About the role
This role will lead several highimpact projects within our brand marketing and membership engagement function. You will require strong leadership exceptional project management skills and deep expertise across brand marketing and communications. You will be comfortable managing multiple streams of work simultaneously collaborating across teams and with external agencies and ensuring delivery to a high standard on time and within budget. This is a handson role that demands both strategic thinking and tactical execution.
What youll be doing
1. EDM communications audit
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of email communications across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline messaging reduce duplication and enhance the approval and governance process.
2. Brand refresh
- Project lead and liaison for our organisationwide brand refresh.
- Manage the relationship with our external agency ensuring internal alignment and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Deliver project milestones and support the successful rollout of updated brand assets.
3. New website migration and governance
- Support the migration of content development and implementation of new governance and processes as we move to a new website platform.
- Ensure the website aligns with outcomes from our CX project and reflects the refreshed brand identity.
4. CRM Implementation
- Partner with the Director and IT team to evaluate select and implement a new CRM solution that meets the organisations needs for member engagement events and marketing.
About you
- Qualifications in marketing degree or postgraduate with 10 years experience in senior marketing roles.
- A proven track record in strategic planning execution and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to scope plan deliver and evaluate projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing and briefing external agencies and vendors including creative digital media content events and research partners.
- Skilled in stakeholder management with the ability to engage confidently with internal teams leadership and external partners.
- Abilityto develop and shape content across owned earned and paid channels: websites email social media events and internal platforms.
- Comfortable working with digital marketing platforms including CMS CRM systems eMarketing Cloud and analytics tools.
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating marketing performance extracting insights and continuously improving strategy and execution.
- Ability to create and refine value propositions campaign narratives and content hierarchies in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- A natural collaborator who champions efficiency and alignment reducing silos and improving internal processes for a cohesive audience experience.
- High attention to detail strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive datainformed approach to decisionmaking.
- Deep understanding of brand legal risk and compliance frameworks within a marketing and communications context.
- Demonstrated agility and adaptability in fastpaced or evolving environments.
About the team
The Marketing team drives the Law Societys overall marketing and communications strategy and promotes the benefits of Law Society membership to solicitors. It maintains the content on the Law Society website publishes Monday Briefs and the Member Services Guide and develops and manages marketing campaigns for events publications and other Law Society initiatives. This includes copywriting design and marketing strategy.
