The Finance team supporting AFT is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with the Amazon AFT organization and to help drive their future innovations. The successful candidate must be able to think and act quickly under time pressure and manage multiple competing priorities effectively. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of superior financial and strategic analysis and developing/delivering recommendations based on this analysis.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following abilities: they influence business owners support thoughtful decisionmaking and adapt to a rapidlyevolving environment. They collaborate with executives and various business units across Amazon. This person must thrive in a fastpaced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics. Amazon is fastgrowing which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. Candidates must be motivated disciplined and able to work effectively autonomously.
Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
5 years of finance experience or Masters degree and 3 years of finance experience
MBA or CPA
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
