Overview
IST Management is seeking our next Catering/Hospitality Operations Manager to join the Boston team! The Operations/Facilities Manager will be responsible for supporting Corporate Catering and Hospitality Services in addition to other support services onsite daily. Our staff work in a high paced environment setting up and breaking down breakfast and lunch meetings as well as other events through the day. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in catering or hospitality are willing to train possess a level of professionalism and are ready to grow in their office services career!

Annual Compensation: $80000 $90000 Annually USD
Schedule: MondayFriday 7am4pm (plus other hours as needed)
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing Client Relationships along with managing the daily catering operations in a professional office environment
- Oversee internal catering events by coordinating services with external catering companies;Ensure all catering events comply with allergy requirements and health and safety standards; Review all catering orders for 100% accuracy
- Establish and maintain effective Client and Customer rapport to determine catering needs
- Strong supervisory skills required along with the ability to train and motivate direct reports
- Oversee Conference Room Management setups and breakdowns for meetings assist with food and beverage set up and clean up arrange tables as needed ensure conference room cleanliness
- Manage all Hospitality Services Ensure site common areas including kitchen are wellstocked maintained and presentable; includes taking inventory and ordering additional office and kitchen supplies cleaning kitchen and common areas making coffee etc.
- Responsible for Mail Room operations which includes incoming and outgoing accountable package tracking and delivery as well as overseeing all USPS items; Ordering supplies
- Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines & all safety procedures
- Participate in crosstraining ; Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Hospitality/Catering background required
- Supervisory experience required; Professional appearance and demeanor
- Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
- Ability to meet employers attendance policy
- A valid drivers license and/or access to reliable transportation to and from work
- Lifting up to 55 pounds
