Job Title: Regional Graphics Manager Americas

The Regional Graphics Manager Americas will act as the regional Americas Graphics Manager for the Snacking segment maintain and further evolve the regional artwork commercialization systems and delivery landscape support the design to print process working closely with marketing / activity management Mars DT and procurement functions. The role will connect closely with all regional segment activities establish a regional xsegment network with other Graphics representatives and serve as first point of contact and support for artwork adaptation rollouts as well as artwork commercialization (Design & Graphics Tier 2 and Tier 3). A strong link with the global expert centre on technical and process related topics will facilitate participation in a global distributed shared service covering Design & Graphics. The role will be of rather technical nature supporting and evolving the systems landscape linked to artwork management including Veritas Orchestration Layer SAP PLM Helix Salsify and Yellofin.
What will be your responsibilities
Process Management Will be accountable for setting up and maintaining a robust endtoend process from frozen design to printed packaging. In collaboration with the global expert center continuous improvement activities as well as innovation projects will be driven out of this role.
Supporting both artwork rollout and adaptation (Design&Graphics Tier 2) as well as artwork commercialization (Design&Graphics Tier 3) in the region including first point of contact in a regional support structure providing trainings for new joiners as well as for experienced users will be a key aspect of the role.
Regional Ownership for Yellofin Platform Backbone of the artwork management process is the Yellofin platform. Maintaining and evolving the environment initiate and drive further implementations and own further integration with adjacent systems is a key responsibility of the role.
Technical Leadership for Graphics Related Subjects The area of artwork commercialization and graphics is undergoing significant change and new print technologies (FlexoHD digital print) as well as our sustainability agenda require technical understanding in order to coordinate internal teams as well as external partners in leveraging these opportunities.
Technical Leadership for Systems Related Subjects The artwork management process interfaces with a number of adjacent processes which are all impacted by significant process and IT changes. Examples are Veritas
(specification management) Helix (legal text creation) Aprimo and Salsify (Digital Asset Management dComm and Syndication with Trade Partners) Orchestration Layer. The job holder will support the interfaces with local systems and handle any problems linked to the systems.
Functional Supplier Management The job holder will manage several regional suppliers supporting the artwork management process. In close collaboration with internal stakeholders from Marketing Activity Management and Commercial excellent supplier management with the setup of SOWs rate cards and governance structures will be a key part of the role.
Global Ownership of Functional & Technical Themes The global expert centre will be set up as a distributed virtual structure with ownership of technical topics in the regions. Depending on the profile of the jobholder digital technology (workflow interfaces Mars DT systems) or graphics (print quality management / global color management) related topics can be steered and governed from this role.
