Public Health Championing Community Wellbeing
Be part of shaping an approach that tackles the complexities of public health challenges headon! We have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of community wellbeing within our Health Improvement team.
Were looking for a Public Health Practitioner to support our Public Health function across health improvement. The role will specifically support projects and programmes of work on our smokefree role is a 18 month fixed term position funded by the Smokefree Generation Grant that aims to decrease smoking prevalence through enhancing local stop smoking services. We are therefore seeking a subject matter expert who can confidently develop and mobilise smokefree projects and training.
This is an opportunity to work creatively with a passionate and innovative team working closely with Public Health Specialists and Public Health Principal to support established projects but also create new opportunities. It will involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as working closely with residents in any codesign of projects.
As a Public Health Practitioner youll be the handson practitioner utilising your project management skills and engaging with communities to drive real results.
