Nursery Room Leader Baby Room
Salary: 31000 per annum
Hours: Fulltime 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent All year round

Our client a wellestablished and nurturing nursery setting is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to take the lead in their baby room.


This role is ideal for a qualified Level 3 practitioner who has handson experience working with babies and is ready to take the next step in their early years career. The successful candidate will lead a small team providing highquality care in a calm responsive and developmentally appropriate environment for children.

What Were Looking For:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with babies in a nursery or similar early years setting.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role (desirable but not essential).
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a caring teamoriented approach.
  • A genuine passion for early years education and supporting the youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the baby room team creating a nurturing and safe environment for infants.
  • Plan and deliver ageappropriate engaging activities that support holistic development.
  • Build strong trusting relationships with babies and their families.
  • Monitor and record each childs progress contributing to learning journals and reports.
  • Support and mentor junior staff within the room promoting best practice.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene safety and compliance with all nursery policies.
