The Graphic Design Unit is located in the Documents Management Section of the Division of Conferences Languages and Documents in the Sector for Administration and Management. The Unit is responsible for visual graphic digital and multimedia design and desktop publishing (DTP) services for all UNESCO information products. These include among others publications documents large formats for exhibitions promotional materials and presentations. The Unit also provides advice to the UNESCO programme sectors and governing bodies on formats and implementation of UNESCOs branding including the correct use of the UNESCO logo. The Unit is also responsible for the outsourcing of design and DTP work that cannot be processed inhouse. The incumbent reports to the Chief of the Documents Management Section.
Under the overall authority of the Director Division of Conferences Languages and Documents and direct supervision of the Chief of the Documents Management Section the Head of the PreMedia Unit will be expected to perform the following essential duties:

UNESCOs salaries consist of a basic salary and other benefits which may include if applicable: 30 days annual leave family allowance medical insurance pension plan etc.
The approximate annual starting salary for this post is 104 896 US $.
