Position Criteria:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 67 years of custodial management experience preferably in and education setting
- CPO certification may obtain after hire
Performance Criteria:
- Supervision of day and night custodial supervisors
- Oversee safety program for custodial staff to include maintaining SDS binders spot checking hygiene boxes and body fluid spill kits.
- Pulling a report from FSDirect (Facility scheduling system where employees schedule various rooms/facilities throughout the district for uses outside traditional day time education.a) for each Schools Calendar Daily/ Making sure events are set up & Custodians put in work orders for the proper Equipment. Organizing Times/dates and number of staff for clean ups for Events on weekends as well as creating a List of what needs done per event.
- Checking Maintenance Direct (Electronic system for all employees in all buildings to enter required maintenance or custodial issues to be routed appropriately online 24/7. ) assigning work orders/ Receive work orders /Entering work orders. Cross checking work order making sure events that are checked Custodial have the correct Equipment.
- Lead the hiring efforts of all custodial staff
- Picking up/Ordering parts & Fixing Broken Equipment from all buildings.
- Monthly Check on Scrubbers making sure they are working properly & replacing broken parts.
- Manage the inventory and ordering process for all supplies and chemicals while ensuring buildings have all necessary supplies
- Checking/Matching All Supply Delivery notes to Invoices Approving & turning in to Operations Bookkeeper
- Assist Director of Operations in outfitting new buildings
- Assisting with snow removal as needed
- Evaluating employee performance
Successful candidates will need to complete a preemployment drug screen motor vehicle check and background check as part of the Waukee Community School District hiring process.
