Job Description
Join our shipping and receivingteam and use your previous knowledge to help guide the shipping department to success as a Lead in the department. Properly prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Transport material internally. Execute standard procedures and assist logistics team to fulfill tasks on time every time. Provide ideas on how to improve processes in a strong continuous improvement environment. Assist to build a bestinclass service culture by driving positive customer satisfaction. We offer a full benefits package that fulltime employees are eligible for on day 1. This role is MondayFriday 10a6:30pm with overtime possible on Saturdays.
JOB DUTIES:
- Transporting material in the shipping department
- Picking and packing ordersutilizing an RF scanner
- Operating standup reach forklift
- Ensure zero product delinquency
- Focus on continuous improvement
- Execute standard procedures
- Scheduling workflow
- Directing associates into a variety of job duties
- Overseeing department functionsunder the supervisor
- Training/coachingemployees in the department
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving
- 2 years of experience operating a forklift
- 2 years of experience using a RF scanner
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role
- Basic computer skills
