Operations and CX Training Coordinator: NYC
alts Alteration Specialists is looking for an Operations and CX Training Coordinator
Location: NYC (Onsite 5 days/week) Reports to: HR Director
As the Training Coordinator at alts Alteration Specialists youll play a key role in elevating our teams capabilities and ensuring operational excellence. Youll lead the delivery of engaging training experiences and support the development of resources that empower our staff to provide worldclass service in a luxury environment. This role requires excellent communication skills a passion for continuous learning and a deep appreciation for our people and processes. Youll report directly to the HR Director and collaborate closely with the Client Experience Manager (CXM) Project Manager (PM) and studio leadership teams to ensure alignment across functions and locations.
Responsibilities
Onboarding
- Facilitate interactive onboarding sessions for new hires and internal transfers ensuring clarity on our values service standards and operational procedures.
- Assist in developing onboarding materials and resources.
- Collaborate with CXM and PM to align onboarding content with Alts customerfirst ethos.
- Gather feedback and provide insight to refine onboarding effectiveness.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics and LMS enrollment in partnership with HR.
- Conduct evaluations during the onboarding process including a 10day checkin and one of four formal evaluations for all new hires.
Supplemental Training
- Act as the central point of contact for studio operations and client experience training.
- Lead virtual and inperson group training sessions across our markets (NY NJ CT).
- Support the planning and execution of companywide training events like Learning Week.
- Identify ongoing learning opportunities to enhance our luxury service experience.
- Track attendance engagement and effectiveness of all training efforts.
- Conduct studio visits to assess operational consistency and identify coaching opportunities.
Resource Development
- Create and maintain training content (howto guides videos visual documentation) using tools like Notion Canva and Rippling.
- Collaborate with PM and CXM to produce tailored content for specific functions.
- Manage training tools such as LMS and webinar platforms.
- Regularly update resources for clarity accuracy and alignment with brand standards.

Experience
- 4 years of experience in a customerfacing or training role ideally in customer success retail operations or luxury service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; engaging presenter.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Technologically proficient; experience with LMS platforms Microsoft Office Notion Canva and video creation/editing tools preferred.
- Willing and able to work inperson at NYC HQ or Studio locations 5 days per week.
- Willingness to travel locally for inperson training (NY NJ CT).
- Startup experience or a flexible adaptive work style is a plus.

Compensation
This role offers a competitive salary with a starting range of $50000$58000 per year based on experience. This role also requires weekend availability.
