Job Description:
L3Harris is looking for someone to supervise a talented group of 10 Applications Engineers as they prep and conduct product demonstrations provide shortterm Field Service Representative support and deliver topnotch product training. Youll manage departmental quoting budgeting manpower loading scheduling and daytoday activities while monitoring key metrics to ensure our goals are met. Your role will be pivotal in prioritizing Applications Engineers support requests both internationally and domestically and collaborating with Program Management and Sales to drive our divisions pursuit of over $5B in potential sales annually. Essential Functions:
- Demonstrated comprehension of ITAR and Export Compliance regulations and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading change
- Prior Military experience
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principals (Greenbelt Certification)
- PMP (or project management skills)
- Knowledge of Harris Tactical products
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Project)
- Proven ability to address challenges head on and provide innovative cost effective solutions
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal & written skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills professional demeanor
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in Application Engineering.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York State is $82500 $153000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
