The Adventure Ahead:

As the Javelina Systems Analyst you will perform plan building within the Javelina claims adjudication system.

  • Complete plan building worksheets based on new plan benefit structures
  • Program new Javelina plans
  • Maintain existing plans whether through user reported issues or plan auditing
  • Resolve planrelated system problems reported by users
  • Perform daily weekly and monthend operational procedures
  • Execute assigned project tasks within established schedule
  • Test plans fully prior to deployment; complete a testing checklist
  • Document procedures and operation methods and recommend improvements to procedures to maximize operational efficiency; Research and evaluate new tools and techniques by participating in professional groups and attending conferences seminars and training

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or the equivalent education and /or experience
  • Minimum of two years of relevant and progressive professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; advanced organizational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability of solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality tact and diplomacy
  • Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel Access PowerPoint Word)
