Job Description
Software developers generate code but does it work We need you to design and build test tools and processes so that we can build high quality products faster. AWS Fintech is looking for talented SDETs to make a difference on our team.
Key job responsibilities
As a QA SDET you will be responsible for building and maintaining our automated test infrastructure for mission critical applications that will be used to validate all aspects of the product operation. You will evaluate current automation implementation and identify gaps in coverage and create test strategies and test cases to improve and assess product quality. You will create infrastructure and tools to establish a reliable continuous build and test cycle that includes meaningful reporting.
About the team
The AWS Fintech team builds and operates systems that provide financial management and reporting for AWS. We own the AWS financial data and technology solutions with the goal of creating a comprehensive finance data platform that automates repetitive data management tasks. This allows our finance users to focus on datadriven insights and informed business decisions.
Our product portfolio includes tools and systems that standardize finance operations across various FGBS teams at the product region and customer levels.
4 years of noninternship professional software development testing experience
2 years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design
Experience with web services and REST APIs
Knowledge of overall system architecture scalability reliability and performance in a database environment
Experience with security in serviceoriented architectures and web services
