Job Description
Music Teacher Elementary
SY
This position will be located at Hamilton Primary School and Nash Primary School

Qualifications:
- Must be licensed with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as an Elementary Teacher (16)
- SEI Endorsement required
- Must hold a bachelors degree or higher.
General Duties:
Guides and evaluates the learning experience of the students in her/his classes and accepts responsibility for activities of students within her/his purview within the school building or on the school grounds.
Specific Duties:
- Instructs to the best of her/his ability
- Participates in faculty meetings and workshops
- Provides when necessary instructional help outside the regularstudent day within bounds established by the collective bargaining agreement
- Participates in curriculum planning and professional development activities
- Prepares records and reports as
- Provides for the care and protection of school property
- Keeps records and all books supplies and equipment in her/his classroom
- Accepts instructional and noninstructional assignments as provided forin the collective bargaining agreement.
- Executes School Committee policy.
