What you will do:
As a Custom Painter you will prepare and apply powder coat and liquid paint and other coatings to interior and exterior surfaces as needed. You will routinely make paintrelated repairs to prime product prior to PDI. You may occasionally be required to coat custom fabricated structures racking vehicles etc. You will follow all required safety procedures at all times.
What you have:
Equipment paint processing experience OR a paint related certificate or degree (trade school / technical degree)
Experience in topcoat prime coat and electrostatic paint
Ability to read blueprints / engineering drawings
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Top candidates will also have:
One year of liquid paint experience preferably in touch up painting

2nd Shift Starting Pay: $24.00/hour ( 8% Shift Premium)
MondayFriday 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
**Role requires overtime as needed to support business needs**

Summary Pay Range:
$24.00 $30.30Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjobrelated knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
