JOB OVERVIEW:
The Maintenance Technician takes responsibility for the daily maintenance tasks necessary to keep the plant running smoothly and efficiently. In addition to taking responsibility for the daily maintenance the technician works handinhand with the Maintenance Supervisor Production Supervisors & Leaders other Maintenance Technicians and the broader team as appropriate to identify ways to improve the plant and keep production moving smoothly. This position requires exceptional organizational and detail skills a problemsolving approach and a firm grasp of the mechanics necessary to solve the variety of maintenance tasks that come up on a daytoday basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete all building related work orders and routine and preventative maintenance as
Ensure structure is secure and maintained per quality standards
Responsible for exterior repairs including fencing windows doors roof and etc.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and repair as necessary
Work with the broader maintenance team to complete more complicated tasks
Work with the production crew as needed to ensure compatibility of equipment with production needs
Evaluate production line processes and help identify opportunities for improvement
Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates efficiencies yields costs and changeovers
Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards
Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process
Work with equipment designers and manufacturers to develop a costeffective and working production process
Work with contractors as needed to perform duties on projects
JOB EXPERIENCE:
1 years of experience in building maintenance construction or similar field
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Ability to use power tools (drill grinder impact saw etc.).
Strong problemsolving abilities
Significant Mechanical and Electrical background
Developed listening verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and detail skills
Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Must be a problemsolver who uses good judgement
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
Basic refrigeration knowledge preferred
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. It may also require working at elevated heights. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and talk or hear.

Expected Pay Rage: $25.19 $32.04/hr nonexempt
Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs contingent upon achieving preestablished individual and company performance metrics.
