Job Description
Facility: Roxborough Memorial Hospital Philadelphia
Address: 5800 Ridge Ave Philadelphia PA 19128 United States
Contract: 13 weeks
S hift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $32/hr (W2) $34/hr (1099)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
The Central Sterile Technician is responsible for the decontamination inspection sterilization and assembly of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role ensures that all tools are properly processed and available for procedures in a hospital setting.
- Clean sterilize and assemble surgical instruments and trays
- Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and equipment
- Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Inspect equipment for proper function and cleanliness
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of instruments
