Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)
Location: Conroe/Willis/The Woodlands TX (Onsite)
Reports To: Manager/Director
Job Level: MidLevel

Minimum Qualifications:Note: Applicants must already possess CHT certification; individuals currently pursuing certification will not be considered.

Education: Bachelors or graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

License: Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas

Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) Required

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification

Advanced clinical education/certifications Preferred

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant occupational therapy experience
-
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans with clearly defined goals
-
Administer advanced hand therapy techniques and occupational therapy interventions
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and surgical specialists
-
Supervise support staff and assistants; ensure safe and effective care delivery
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records
-
Educate and mentor peers students and the community through presentations and clinical instruction
-
Lead or participate in departmental committees initiatives and strategic planning
-
Monitor program effectiveness and recommend enhancements or new services
-
Promote continued professional development and model Clients core service standards
-
Ability to lift up to 75100 lbs occasionally and carry up to 30 lbs

Prolonged standing frequent walking stooping squatting

Manual dexterity and visual acuity for monitoring equipment handling tools and observing patient responses
