Job Title: Chemical Laboratory Technician
Location: 23800 Mercantile Road Beachwood OH 44122
Work Schedule:7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Must have mechanical aptitude and excellent laboratory or pilot plant scale skills including detailed record keeping and knowledge of safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Must be able to lift and handle up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office software and Lotus Notes required.
Responsibilities:
- Working in a team environment under minimal daily direct supervision in chemical laboratory and pilot plant.
- Tasks involve processing and synthesis of chemical catalysts and substances in solid and liquid forms including autoclave mixing heat treating extruding pelletizing operations.
- Organize and store data in electronic databases including MS products and custom applications.
- Work closely with supervisor and team both in the pilot plant and in the lab to provide raw materials samples and data.
- Ability to regularly lift 20kg and work in body and respiratory protection equipment (powered air purifying respirator)Identify hazards and work safely following EHS (Environmental Health and Safety.
