Primary Location: Richmond VA (Onsite only)

Position Summary:
We are seeking two highly skilled Senior UNIX/Linux Systems Administrators to support a critical mission under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) JETS 2.0. The selected candidates will be responsible for enterpriselevel system administration security compliance and operational support across classified and unclassified environments. This role supports both NIPRnet and SIPRnet infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Red Hat Solaris and HPUX systems. Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance and meet all DoD 8570/8140 requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full system lifecycle operations for Red Hat Linux Solaris and HPUX platforms (physical and virtual)
Ensure continuous compliance with DoD STIGs including vulnerability remediation and patch management
Perform identity and access management using Red Hat Identity Manager (IDM)
Deploy and maintain COTS tools such as Trellix HBSS Splunk and ArcSight
Monitor logs and system performance for anomalies growth trends and intrusion indicators
Respond to incidents perform root cause analysis and support COOP/DR (Continuity of Operations/Disaster Recovery)
Deliver responsive and professional support to DLA stakeholders and VIP users
Participate in technical planning documentation and review activities
Provide 24/7/365 oncall support across CONUS/OCONUS time zones as needed
Required Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance (No interim clearances)
Security CE or higher (Compliant with DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II)
Minimum of 10 years specialized experience in UNIX/Linux system administration
Operating System Certification: RHCSA RHCE or CompTIA Linux
Bachelors degree in technical discipline (required no substitutions)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting classified systems within DoD or federal agencies
Working knowledge of RMF DIACAP and other DoD Information Assurance frameworks
Familiarity with compliance tools such as ACAS and STIG Viewer
Handson experience with Red Hat 7 Solaris 11 and HPUX
Experience administering Trellix HBSS Splunk and ArcSight
