Job Description
Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Required
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Required within 30 days of hire if not current upon hire.
Licenses: State of Tennessee Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure
One year experience as Physical Therapy Assistant Preferred
Assists a Physical Therapist with a patients rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility.
Reports to: Director Rehab Services or Director of Inpatient Rehab Services
