Job Description
Company Location: Rockville MD
Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly cash lease and debt accounting and review journal entries for accuracy.
- Review account reconciliations validate balances and resolve discrepancies with supporting documentation.
- Supervise the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements explaining variances from prior periods.
- Manage unvouchered liabilities by collaborating with the purchasing department to ensure accurate reporting and timely resolution.
- Monitor staff performance set goals assign accountabilities and provide feedback and recognition.
- Supervise JDE fixed asset accounting processes to ensure compliance with company policy and US GAAP and balance sub ledger and general ledger for all entities.
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- Minimum 4 years accounting experience with prior supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred not required.
