Responsibilities:
Performs vital services in caring for personal needs and provision of comfort to patients and families
Perform services in manners specific to the age of the patient population
Functions as a member of the treatment team and performs specific patient care and program duties
Responsibility for program implementation and milieu management
Documents and records patient care including observation protection and charting provisions of personal care according to direction of registered nurse
Assist in creating and maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients
Work is performed in accordance with established program documents policies procedures rules and regulations of the hospital and department.
Works under supervision of a registered nurse
Data entry skills
Answering multiple phone system and retrieving voicemails
Requirements:
High school graduate with two or more years of posthigh school education majoring in behavioral health psychology sociology nursing or other psychiatric/medical related program.
Preferred:
Bachelors degree
Office experience
6 months in the behavioral health field
