Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Software Engineer Backend you will be a key contributor to the design development and maintenance of our web services. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality scalable and reliable web services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
What you will do
- Work closely with product managers UX designers and architects to understand project requirements and technical specifications
- Design develop unit test and maintain software applications ensuring they meet highquality standards security and performance benchmarks
- Write clean efficient and maintainable code in accordance with coding standards and best practices
- Analyze troubleshoot and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer issues
What you will have
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the software development
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages Java and Spring a strong grasp of software development principles
- Knowledge of developing consuming and evolving RESTful web services
- Knowledge of both relational (MySQL MariaDB) and NoSQL/nonrelational (Cassandra) databases
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Strong in data structure & algorithms and problem solving
- Expert in objectoriented design secure coding and unit testing
- Flexible and willing to learn/work on new technologies
- Detailoriented quick learner problem solver and team player
Nice to have
- Experience in developing User Interface for web applications
- Understanding of web SSL PKI and other security related technologies
