Job Description
Downers Rail & Transit Systems (RTS) business unit offers over 150 years experience in rail proven delivery of the largest new fleets in Australia and are the largest national rollingstock maintainer.
We have a great opportunity for a Zero Harm Manager to support and manage our Maryborough operations.
At Downer Zero Harm is not just a policyits the heart of our culture and the most crucial part of our daily operations. We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on this pivotal role reporting directly to the General Manager of Zero Harm Operations. As a key member of our team you will provide essential safety support to our facility team including consultation risk and incident management and rail safety requirements. ABOUT YOU
- 10 years exposure in a HSE position within a large asset management maintenance or heavy engineering environment. (Rail experience preferred)
- Cert IV in WHS / OHS or equivalent.
- ICAM lead investigator required.
- Knowledge of ReturntoWork legislation with RTW qualifications would be highly regarded.
- Sound knowledge of HSE legislation including the National Rail Safey Act.
- Excellent leadership skills and experience with effectively facilitating multiple stakeholders.
