About the role

We are looking for an experienced and resultsdriven Social Media Manager to help shape and deliver socialfirst strategies manage multimarket social projects and content creation for a leading B2B food solutions brand. Based in South Africa and managed out of the UK this role will support a global project collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders across several international markets.

Youll play a handson role in managing content creation campaign execution influencer engagement and community management all tailored to engage business audiences in the foodservice industry. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of B2B marketing content strategy and how to create valuedriven communications that resonate with food service professionals.

What youll do

  • Plan and manage social media content tailored to B2B audiences ensuring content is relevant engaging and aligned with brand messaging across multiple markets.
  • Coordinate with community managers and market leads across regions to ensure execution reflects local nuances and business priorities.
  • Support campaign development by conducting research gathering insights and identifying opportunities to drive awareness and credibility.
  • Stay up to date on platform trends and B2B social best practices translating these into actionable recommendations and content optimizations.
  • Work with influencers and industry voices supporting outreach and management to increase reach and authority within relevant B2B networks.
  • Develop and maintain toneofvoice and governance documentation to ensure consistent communication across markets.
  • Monitor performance and report on KPIs translating data into insights that inform ongoing campaign improvements.
  • Collaborate across internal departments and client teams supporting alignment between strategy content and execution.


About you

35 years experience in social media management preferably within B2B or foodrelated industries.

Understanding of B2B customer journeys particularly for foodservice professionals and food operators.

Demonstrated experience in multimarket social strategy and content planning.

Strong grasp of LinkedIn Meta and other platforms relevant to B2B audiences as well as experience with paid and organic social.

Experience managing or working with content creators influencers subject matter experts and brand advocates in a B2B context including content planning ideation and project management

Competent in using social analytics and insights tools to inform strategy and track success. And to provide rigorous reporting

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate across time zones and teams.

Comfortable working in a fastpaced handson environment with multiple stakeholders.

A strategic and practical content planner who understands the B2B mindset and how to deliver social value to food operator audiences.

A confident communicator and collaborator able to navigate complex stakeholder needs across markets.

A selfstarter who is comfortable managing daytoday execution while contributing to strategic direction.

A curious foodsavvy individual eager to stay ahead of trends and bring fresh thinking to B2B social marketing.
