The expansion of a construction company has created an opening for a Senior Accountant with experience overseeing financial operations preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements reports and budgets
- Manage monthend and yearend closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries
- Oversee AP AR and GL activities
- Provide necessary documentation and reports for internal and external audits
- Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with local state and federal tax laws
- Collaborate with different departments to streamline financial processes
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field
- 3 years of accounting experience within the construction consumer services or a similar industry
- Strong understanding of financial reporting budgeting and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Experience with Excel (lookups pivot tables)
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills
