HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Responsible for sending and receiving referrals electronically and via facsimile machine.
- Telephones or faxes clinical information to third party payers and health care agencies.
- Facilitates referrals for home care services.
- Facilitates assistance for patients identified as needing such for Home Health Care placement.
- Maintains department reports and supplies.
- Ensures department coverage.
- Ensures prior authorizations are submitted appropriately and timely.
- Schedules diagnostic procedures and Holter monitors with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) Radiology. Processes stat and durable medical equipment (DME) referrals.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- High Schoold diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 1 year healthcare exp
Preferred Experience:
- Three (2) years of administrative experience.
- Knowledge of Allscripts Availity RadMD Humana Military Evicore Capital Health PlanSM(CHP) and AIM Specialty Health(AIM) insurance provider websites.
- Good attention to detail.
