The IL Department of Natural Resources is seeking to hire a Storekeeper I for The Office of Stategic Services. This position will prepare equipment for surplus and coordinate surplus of equipment for disposal or transfer to CMS surplus will use the vehicle motor pool computer database to schedule dispatch and receive vehicles will meet with customers at scheduled times to issue keys will explain motor pool procedures rules and guidelines for operating the vehicle and filling out mileage logs and will communicate with agency staff through email phone and in person regarding the motor pool operations. Strategic Services facilitates IDNRs most significant economic impact through license and permit sales generating $40 million for the State special events attracting hundreds of thousands of tourism visits and management of educational programs. $2.1 billion is annually spent in Illinois on hunting and fishing enough to support 22000 jobs and a $700 million annual payroll. In addition the office distributes approximately 1 million publications each year. We welcome all interested applicants to apply.

OSS also has dedicated staff to host special sporting and educational events across the state to boost tourism and educational efforts that have not only an impact at a local level but on a national scale. The OSS provides oversight and support for a variety of special events held yearround.
